A Magical Story

Beauty in The Struggle (BITS)

Through highly cinematic and character driven storytelling, BITS is engaging, reflective and hopeful. Raw unexpected events portray the power of nature, human connection and what happens if you embrace a new way of looking at resilience.

Part A

Discovering a New Way to Look at Resilience: 35-40 minutes

Recreates the events of 2020 telling the story of a magical connection that happened between growing sunflowers and the athletic pursuit of a 56 year old cancer survivor stair climbing 50% of the elevation of Mount Everest in three hours.

The story also takes on a new journey of discovery that will test a new definition of resilience. Powerful lessons of growing sunflowers reveal a fresh perspective of how to activate hope and stay resilient in troubling times.

Part B

Building the Worlds Largest Sunflower Print: 35-40 minutes

Behind the scenes storytelling, watch how a community comes together towards a purpose led common goal of making the world’s largest sunflower print.

The special day of reconnection is captured – lifting the human spirit and watching the wonder of it all come together. Through time lapse video, watch the flower unfold and with it the human spirit.

Through creativity, the “seeds” reach their potential. 1,000’s of works of art tell individual and collective stories of a new definition of resilience. We follow three of these stories and learn more about the people activating hope through their art.
