Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Ali Golabchi, PhD

Ali comes from an engineering background with a PhD from the University of Alberta and an MSc from the University of Michigan. His research has focused extensively on exploring innovative approaches of applying technology to improve health, safety, and wellness. He also has three years of experience working at EWI Works Inc., as the Director of Innovation, Technology & Research.

He has managed the development of many mobile and online applications, such as a tele-health assessment app, an ergonomic assessment app, an automated online health & safety database and report generation system, as well as many educational development projects related to safety and wellness.

These projects have been completed in collaboration with large organizations such as Alberta Health Services, TELUS Communications, and NAIT. He is very excited to be involved in PEPY as his passion is adapting technology to improve wellbeing, comfort, and health.
